Project Happiness: Waterdrops

October 03, 2014  •  Leave a Comment

Hello lovelies!

I feel like I really need to start this blog. :)  So, let me start posting photos with how I got to photography in the first place.  It's my love of MACRO!  I started picking up a DSLR year 2009 just so I could get a decent shot of flowers and paint them in watercolor.  But I fell in love instantly and the rest of the story follow...

Just taken a few hours ago.  Decided to play before this sunflower dried up.

All photos are (almost) in SOOC.  I just adjusted the sharpness in LR5 and added my watermark.

Ingredients:  Yes, ingredients! :)

mixture of water, glycerin and a little bit of corn syrup in a syringe (You'll be surprised how after hours of shooting, if you just leave it as it is, you'll see the drops are still hanging.  For me, it's just amazing how the syrup holds).

Canon 5D Mark iii

MP-E 65mm and 100mm 2.8L lens

last 2 images were taken with Lensbaby Composer Pro - Sweet 35 and DGO (heart aperture) with macro kit
